Imagine the power of film to change the world. That thought has motivated my passion for filmmaking — the ultimate art form — for 30 years. I have been lucky enough to see the world through the lens of a motion picture camera. I like the challenge of shooting footage of distant cultures, exploring vast landscapes in remote corners of the globe, and filming events in natural history that are rarely seen and challenge my artistic ability to get the shot. Eventually, those clips turn into film sequences that deliver a message, entertain, or both. My goal is always to capture images and experiences that are rarely available and present them to audiences around the world.

Filming a scene that people find comic is difficult, but extremely rewarding. Using film to educate and enhance social awareness is an honor. It's been deeply gratifying to connect with Elizabeth Redleaf and Christine Walker, my partners at Werc Werk Works, and to serve as co-founder of a company that actually rewards writers and directors for their vision and hard work.

There are strong, independent voices that need to be heard in the film world, and Christine and Elizabeth have a gift for choosing truly eclectic feature film projects with solid audience appeal. Get ready for breakthrough productions that also affirm the wisdom of Margaret Mead's words: Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.
